Future of NFT Alpha
A platform for collectors and creators to discuss NFTs. Blue chip NFTs, new projects, and everything right on the pulse of the NFT community. How do we filter out the noise and get to the signal? Worry no more. Built with Next.js, GraphQL, Tailwind and Laravel.
The problem
NFTs have become a hot topic in the crypto space. There are many platforms for buying and selling NFTs, but there is no platform for discussing NFTs. Twitter, telegram groups, and discord servers are a mess when it comes to get the alpha on NFTs. There is no way to filter out the noise and get to the signal. The goal of this project is to create a platform for collectors and creators to discuss NFTs. Blue chip NFTs, new projects, and everything right on the pulse of the NFT community.
The perfect design system
The design system was built from the ground up to be flexible and extensible. It’s built on top of a custom React component library that allows for components to be configured and extended with ease. Storybook was used to document and test the components. The design system was built with accessibility in mind.
Tech Stack and Tools
The robust tech stack was chosen to allow for rapid development and deployment. The frontend is built with Next.js, Storybook, Tailwind CSS and the backend is built with Laravel and GraphQL. The frontend is deployed on Vercel and the backend is deployed on Laravel Forge. MySQL is used for the database and Redis for caching. The frontend and backend are hosted on separate servers to allow for horizontal scaling. Redash allows for the team to visualize and monitor the data.
Features that make a difference
Features like wallet authentication, realtime project voting, blue chip holder communities, karma system and alpha curated discussions are what make this platform unique. The inspiration for this platform came from the need for a place to discuss NFTs. The reddit style platform but with a focus on NFTs.
Encouraging adaptivity
The platform was built to encourage adaptivity. The platform allows for users to vote on features and the features with the most votes are implemented. This allows for the platform to be built for the users and not for the creators. The platform also allows for users to list their own project and have their own discussions. This allows for the platform to be a place for creators and collectors for tailored experiences.
